History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Carlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Carlin. Personality: He is fixated on the number 79. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Rurik was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rurik's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Synthrin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
