History: Ugarth lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
