History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length black hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and violet handkerchief worn on his left side. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gimgen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This malnourished man tends to wear a green poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He wears his chestnut hair up. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Blacksmith but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
