History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Oriel enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Oriel was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a dilettante and was forced into it by her family

History: Phelaia was born with her mother's beautiful face. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His childhood dream was to be a Roofer, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Beggar.
