He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Veit's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Veit is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Veit learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Carter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: Eran lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He has worked as a Bricklayer like his father before him.

Motivation: Dwarven compassion; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small blue clips. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mortician. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Vaina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again.

History: Volen was born the youngest of three triplets. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
