She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Shax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Crown-heir, but she got bored and became a Mason. She tends to her Mason job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and wants to work out more often

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She wears her chestnut hair down. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Carlin took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
