His brown hair is singed and shortened. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. Her auburn hair is braided into rings. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: This man is very fat, and is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, yellow shirt, and violet tie. His white hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are white and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
