Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. She became a Butcher soon after.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Tordrid abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and regain custody of her son
