History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Raymond embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
