History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Banker. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Edge grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His first spouse was a Knight, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
