History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Gardain learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is short and red. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Animal Trainer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has money and likes to spend it
