Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Pennie isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Pennie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

History: Nija hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Nija alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
