History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Carter father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a blue coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. His blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Animal Trainer born in the past three hundred years. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Ahlyssa reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
