Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bookbinder, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. A freak accident while working with her Butcher father left her crippled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
