Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Hlin has worked very hard to control her curse. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by drow. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Theriatis began to lead the lost caravan. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
