History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Through the years after Zanna was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Zanna's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
