She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Adrie and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Gifted from a young age, Baern studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His black hair is still thick. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Halimath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Halimath. Being a Priest kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her white fur is greasy and uncared for. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality
