History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lewis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lewis. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Grigi lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
