History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Joan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
