History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kristryd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Melissa enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
