When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ownka fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Griselda was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Mialee's homeland. Mialee decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Flask was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
