History: He was born in a small plains village. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Sporting a red mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She is baby faced.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants, and he perpetually has his pickaxe ready. His cinnamon fur has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Sweet learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sweet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sweet. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Lia was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Courier. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
