History: Born in the south to a Carter, Smoking learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His childhood dream was to be a Laborer, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her hair is brown and curly. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Oppah was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She bought a scythe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She carries with her a set of scythes, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Alice lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
