History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Gilbert was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Servant. Being a Servant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Vaina wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emen grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
