Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Thorin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she prefers to wear violet pants and tee shirts. She has slicked back red hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in the west. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Gynk was born the youngest of three triplets. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found
