History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Manfred was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Manfred's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Eberdeb reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He tends to his Sculptor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cumpen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and to reunite with her old friends
