He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Spear grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he feels threatened by others

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has worked as a Bowyer like his mother before him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Clerebold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Seamstress job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
