He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Jeweler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is greedy

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She married young, but lost her spouse to gnolls. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Trey was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
