Personality: Pearl wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Pearl was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Description: This malnourished woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her auburn hair is singed and shortened. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
