History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is content.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Butcher who has hired him part-time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he would like to get married and retire

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her mace, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. She wears her chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She wears a colorful flower in her gold crest. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
