History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mardred grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting goblins, the young Mardred began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Mardred was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Jacoba reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
