History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her childhood dream was to be a Baker, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Bellfounder. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
