History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
