History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mardnab was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She struck the Herbalist job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Healer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has a crush on the local barrister

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
