History: River was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Art grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Art. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trail grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
