Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
