When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: Mumpena wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warrior, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mumpena was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
