History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Forcas was born the youngest of three triplets. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Antinua grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Antinua. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
