History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is fixated on the number 78. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Ekemon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion
