One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gormogord embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Kithri hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of orcs

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He takes great joy in being the best Animal Trainer in town.

History: Born in the north to a Animal Trainer, Rurik learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and further expansion of business

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Shoemaker. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. A true patriot, Sammal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sammal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
