History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He became a Layabout soon after.

History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has money and likes to spend it
