History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Heward was taken on many hunting expeditions. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Ida was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
