History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Burgell alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people.

History: Delre was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Rezena was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she feels threatened by others
