Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Nirgel lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
