History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barbena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to be a carter again

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.
