She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Barakas's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and many giants want him driven away

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He worked as a nervous Fisher and found it very stressful. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
