History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mercenary, and she later adopted a second daughter.

After a long history of fighting, Burana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
