Personality: Joser is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Joser never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Erias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Erias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Tabaxi compassion; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heskan grew up listening to his father's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
