Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She keeps her silver hair in a flapper bob. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Portia embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Portia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Portia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Portia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly rapiers and maces. Her hair is golden and curly. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: Anne was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Soapmaker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her silver hair is lengthy. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Virra hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Virra was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Virra's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Virra was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and many orcs want her driven away

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her ears are large.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Claira was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Claira took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. Her lavender fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.
History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with her absent father
