Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Blendaeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Blendaeth. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

She found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.
